SSE Engine Fixes needs the original skse64_loader.exe and SkyrimSE.exe file names and files. Here is hoping someone on here has had a similar experience and even better, a solution that does not involve reinstalling Skyrim from scratch Skyrim.exe and adding an INI, as several obsolete guides tell you to do to get skse launching from Steam, WILL NOT WORK. Skyrim works fine when run normally, just skse seems not to want to work. I tried running as an administrator and the same. I run the skse loader and I get a black box for half a second and then nothing.

I even disabled all mods but it still crashes

Skyrim may crash on startup because of a connection with the internet. You need to check what files you have there and what they are called. Crash on startup is usually a cause of a SKSE plugin being out to date, not sure that it helps to disable the plugins in NMM if they are still in the data/skse/plugins/ folder. (im on special edition now) I tried downloading it and I followed this video to the letter. I want desperately to be able to use SkyUI because I loved it in vanilla.
